New success in the Far East for Electrosys. The company from Ovieto, which has laid the foundations for stable presence on Asian markets, has overcome the competition, winning the international tender for the project to refurbish the main broadcasting station in Manila.

This is a turnkey supply that includes the antenna and cable as well as the installation and commissioning of a high power transmission system. With its 120 kW, the new Electrosys unit is the most powerful liquid-cooled 1st Band transmitter in the world. The customer is the private Philippine network ABC-5 which, thanks to the Republic Act 7831 of 1994, has arisen from the ashes of the very first private local broadcaster “Channel 5”, which remained on air for a decade between 1960 and 1970 and which was forced to close in 1972 when the country entered martial law. Currently ABC- 5 is considered one of the most important companies in Southeast Asia and has a full 15 television stations in the Philippines covering the entire national territory.
